"Really interesting, but a little confusing to navigate"
I really enjoyed the museum overall because there’s so much to see and a lot of the exhibits are genuinely interesting, but the layout was kind of confusing and we kept somehow looping back to the same areas, then trying to follow signs that didn’t always make it super clear where we were supposed to go next, which got a little frustrating since the place is huge and you already feel like you’re covering a ton of ground. Still had a good time, but I definitely wish it was easier to move around and figure out the flow.

"Worth it for families"
I got the membership for my family, it’s been a good deal. We’ve already gone a few times, so it ended up paying for itself faster than I expected. The only downside is that some of the special exhibits still cost extra, which is a little annoying. But overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you think you’ll visit more than once or twice

"Super easy to find my way"
The signs made everything really easy to follow. I didn’t get lost once, which was nice because compared to other places where you’re wandering around like... anyway, it was just simple and stress-free.

"Pretty Easy to Get There by Bus"
I took the CTA there and, it was straightforward. The bus stop is close enough, and the walk from there isn’t too bad. Would it have been nicer if it wasn’t so cold out? Definitely. That last little bit on foot was kind of annoying in the weather, but overall, it was easy enough and not a big deal.

We had a great time here. The exhibits were really interesting but still easy to follow, which made it fun for both adults and kids. The Science Storms area was a big hit, and the train section was probably the favorite, our kids didn’t want to leave. If you’re going with family, I’d definitely plan for extra time because there’s a lot to explore and it’s easy to spend longer than expected

I got our tickets through msichicago the pricing seemed clear to me. It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for a full day out, it didn’t feel unreasonable, you know? I also appreciated that there weren’t any random surprise fees popping up at checkout. Overall, it felt worth it to me, I’m not the only one who thinks that’s a decent deal, right?

"Decent Interactive Features, But Nothing Amazing"
The interactive stuff was okay overall. Some parts were fun and made the experience a bit more engaging, but it didn’t really wow me or feel super polished. I liked the idea behind it, though I think it could use a little more variety or smoother execution

I went to the museum the parking was a bit of a mixed bag. The lot is close enough, so that part was nice, but getting in took longer than I thought it would. The signs could definitely be clearer too. The price also felt a little high, especially after already paying for museum tickets. It all worked out in the end, but yeah, not the easiest parking experience. I’d give it 3 stars.

"Surprisingly Easy Weekend Visit"
I went on a weekend expecting it to be way more crowded, especially compared to other big museums where you can barely move around. We got our tickets through msichicago.org and were inside quickly, probably waited about 10 minutes. A few exhibits had short lines, but nothing that felt frustrating or chaotic. Overall, it was a really smooth visit, and I’d definitely go again

"Helpful Staff Made It Easy"
The staff were really friendly and helped point us in the right direction a couple of times, which was nice because we definitely would’ve wandered around for a bit otherwise. One of the lines got a little confusing, but they jumped in and helped quickly, so it wasn’t a big deal.

"My kids actually learned a lot"
My kids learned a lot from this, which surprised me a little. They were talking about it later in the car like they were explaining it to me, snacks in hand and everything. It was nice to see them so interested instead of just rushing through it.

"Nice gift shop with plenty to browse"
I hopped on msichicago.org after visiting the museum and ended up checking out the gift shop section for a bit. There’s a solid mix of stuff, especially if you're into science kits, space-themed things, or little gifts for kids.
A few things did feel kinda expensive, but thats not too surprising for a museum shop. I do wish they had a few more cheaper souvenirs, but I still found a couple of nice items I liked. Overall, 4 stars from me.

"Cool exhibit, but not totally worth the extra cost"
I mainly went for the special exhibit, and it was cool, but it was smaller than I expected for the extra ticket price. A few areas were literally so crowded that it was hard to stop and read anything. The website was okay for checking times, but it felt a little clunky on my phone. Overall, not a bad visit, just didn’t feel super worth it to me.

The exhibits themselves were fine and I still enjoyed parts of the visit, but some of the bathrooms and floors felt dirty that day. It was disappointing, and I’d expect at least an apology from the staff or management for the condition of the place...

"We went to MSI Chicago just…"
We went to MSI Chicago just last weekend, so it’s still fresh in my mind, we had such a good time. There was a ton to see, the exhibits were fun, and my kids didn’t get bored once, which almost never happens. Buying tickets online was simple enough too, so that made the day feel easier from the start. A few spots were definitely crowded, but since we just had such a great visit overall, it didn’t really bother us much. I’d definitely go back.

"You’ll probably need more time than you think"
I remember going in thinking we’d be there for maybe 2 or 3 hours, but that definitely wasn’t how it turned out. Once we started walking around, there was way more to see than I expected, and we kept saying, “Let’s just check out one more thing.” Before we knew it, most of the day was gone and we still hadn’t seen everything. Looking back, I’m really glad we didn’t try to rush through it. Super fun place and easily a 5-star experience for me
